However, I am not here to talk about Final Fantasy; but rather, I want to tell you the news about Yu-Gi-Oh!. Announced weeks ago, 4K Media announced that they will screen the 2004 movie Yu-Gi-Oh! the Movie – The Pyramid of Light. The movie will be a remaster and it will be enhanced from 2004 appearance to 2018. I am hoping to see this with my family and friend. If by any chance I see this, I will let you know my experience just like my time with the movie Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale. It’s funny because Sword Art Online and Yu-Gi-Oh! are one of my favorite anime, and my friend Allie and I love the series. This event play off like last year. However, unlike Sword Art Online, fans will have two days to see this movie. You can watch the movie on Mar 11th around the afternoon (12 pm) and Mar 12th at 7pm. Go reserve your tickets to see the movie. If you like the 4Kids dub of Yu-Gi-Oh!, rejoice! You might have correct me, but I hear that if you do go see the movie, fans might be able to get sneak peak of the English Dub Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains.

With this said, let’s duel! (I also have Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links on my phone. Comment down below if you want to duel me or at least have me as your friend.)

Just like the Pokemon the 1st Movie, this movie had an amazing soundtrack. Listen:

We made it a long way from the beginning. From the classic, to GX, 5Ds, Zexal, Arc-V and now Vrains. I need to get back into Vrains. Here is the opening and ending themes of Vrains.

But wait, there’s more!

Escape to the Great World of Anime!

You might be wondering the title and the purpose of this post, there’s a funny story behind this. I am good friends with my anime and colleague friend Allie from Visionaries and we whenever we text each other, we have a really long conversation on anything. Whether it is anime, cartoons and just life, we can go on for hours; however, one day, we had an interesting topic in which also inspired me to write this post. As usual we were talking about anime and how much it would be cool to leave reality and jump into our favorite anime. He texted me this comment but she called it a “rant”:

Go on some sort of adventure become our own heroes. Live in a world where we can be us and that’s good enough. Where words only positivity and people look on the bright side instead of dwelling on the negative. To face their problems instead of keeping them bottles up until they explode :). Oh the naive mind is back to reality now.

This got me thinking, if it’s possible to leave reality for a day and enter any world in the anime I seen is, I would do it. Some people might agree with me in this comment especially if you like anime. Most of us had this deep wish where we can have the ability to go our favorite anime. After hearing her say this, I added my own comment to hers and I told her why I want do it if I could jump into anime:

I would love to visit that world. Take me to Sword Art Online and let me go on quests or Yu-Gi-Oh! and let me duel with my monsters. Take me to a world where my average “me” can be greater. 😀

This may sound silly the way I said it but wouldn’t it be awesome? Imagine leaving your average or boring life for a day, months or whatever time you desire and escape to somewhere where you are the hero or at least feel important. Basically, what I am saying is this: if there was a way to enter a world where you leave your dull life and enter a new world where you can live your favorite anime world or worlds, would you do it?

Personally, I would. In my daily life, I usually live just an average routine where I watch anime or just do my daily chores. Whenever I see anime characters in action or doing something exciting, I get envious. Like a kid who wants to be their favorite superhero, I like to dream and wanting to be something great like my favorite characters. If I can jump into worlds of anime, I would be hero in Dragon Ball Z, travel  and enjoy solitude in Sword Art Online, or even obtain some powerful beings in Yu-Gi-Oh!.

The anime world is more bizarre than JoJo’s Bizarre Aventure but that’s okay, it just means the norm is the oddities itself like the anime Durarara!! Can it be dangerous? Yes! Will you survive? Of course if you have the right skills and ideal anime.

If somehow or someone came to you and asked if you could jump into any anime world you desire, where would you go?

If there was a rabbit hole like Alice in Wonderland where anime logic exist and all reality doesn’t, would you dig deeper?

Or better yet, if there was a door and it says “door way to anime”, would you open that door and not look back?

What would you do and where do you want to go?

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions movie review

In Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions, the stakes have never been higher; the rivalries never as fierce; the risks never so great. One wrong move, one card short, and it’s game over for good. A decade in the making,

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions features new designs and an all-new story from the original creator of the global phenomenon, Kazuki Takahashi. His masterful tale features the most beloved characters of anime in their long-awaited return: Yugi Muto, Seto Kaiba, and their faithful friends Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, Tea Gardner, and Bakura.

(I won’t spoil the entire movie but this will be spoilers if you have not read the entire manga or watched the classic anime.)

Friday Funny 122: Queen of Games

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Before I begin this Friday, let me be the first to say a happy birthday shout out to a special friend. It was actually her birthday yesterday on August 17th but happy birthday to Allie of Visionaries!

Allie is my college friend where I attended college and she also recently  started blogging to write fanfiction. In her blog, she writing a fanfiction of the classic cartoon/anime series Loonatics Unleashed. To those who don’t know, Loonatics Unleashed was a “dark and action” series that starred six characters who are descendants to classic characters like Bugs Bunny and many more. These characters live in the year 2772 in Acmetropolis and these characters receive special powers from a meteor strike. Instead of getting killed, they get powers and they use it to protect the world. This series only has two seasons and a third season was cancelled. Allie loves this show and decides to write a fanfiction story of season 3. Please check out her writing and enjoy some good fanfiction.

Besides writing, she also enjoys some anime that we have in common. She likes Yu-Gi-Oh!, Inuyasha, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Pokemon and Sword Art Online. Her favorite anime is Sailor Moon and I have yet to see it, I’m sorry. If you are reading this Allie, happy birthday from Matt from Matt-in-the-Hat!

In other news, I hope you guys played Sonic Mania. I won’t go into too much details but this game is a big throwback to the classic games from the Sega Genesis! Congratulations Sega and Happy 25th Anniversary to Sonic!

Now, let’s start this Friday post!

Here are some anime songs Allie would probably like to enjoy!

Here some tribute songs she may also like:

To end this post, here some videos from Pokemon movie, Pokemon the First Movie:

God bless you all!
