Marvel News: Sony Solo Films!

News

2018 is going to be a busy year because Marvel announced some surprising news.

Sony, who owns Spider-Man, announced that in 2018 they will be doing a solo movie focusing only on Spider-Man’s rival, Venom. The actor chosen to be Venom will be Tom Hardy (same actor who played as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises). The film will be set to be release in theaters in October 5th, 2018. Unfortunately, unlike Spider-Man who is part of the MCU (Avengers, Iron-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc), Venom will not be part of the universe and will only be in Sony. This is also around the same time as the upcoming DC film Aquaman.

Also, a planned animated movie starring Miles Morales Spider-Man is coming out in December 2018! To those who don’t know, Miles Morales is an African-Hispanic mixed teen who becomes the new Spider-Man after the death of Peter Parker Spider-Man in the Ultimate Marvel comics. This animated movie will be owned by Sony.

Last but not least, joining in the solo films is announcement of the female characters Black Cat and Silver Sable. Once again, they will NOT be part of the MCU films. This planned film will be star these women who has some connection to the Spider-Man comics. This film is in development now.

Friday Funny 113: Dad wants cars, video games and fishing!

TGIF!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back to another great Friday! In this episode, I am here to give you a post filled with humor and news. This weekend will be busy for some because today is the movie release of Cars 3! Watch as Lightening McQueen suffers a great loss and must learn to get back up and earn back his title. Sunday is Father’s Day and I hope everyone takes a day to appreciate their fathers and give him the best day ever.

Some of you who has been active online may have noticed the new games this week and previous weekend, that’s because E3 recently happened and we got some exciting new game tailors and demos! The competition was pretty intense as companies like Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, EA, Square Enix and Bethseda tried to take the spotlight and win E3 for best performance. I saw some interesting video games that I wanted to get but some won’t be out until 2018 or some time this holidays. After seeing Nintendo’s conference, they convinced me to get the Switch. Which games captured your attention and what is your wishlist? I want to get Spider-Man, God of War, and Star Wars Battlefront 2. I have a lot to list but I don’t want to waste time writing it down, it’s Friday Post for Pete’s sake, I am supposed to talk about Father’s Day and Cars and funny memes and I am talking about E3! To make a long story short and not about E3, an updated Kingdom Hearts III trailer was revealed at the KH Orchestra and the game will have another update in July for D23.

With this out of my chest, let’s begin this silly post! (I hope you like this custom meme picture I made for the featured image)

Here are some video game videos that caught my eyes!

I wish I can add more videos but I am just end it here. I hope you have a great Father’s Day!
