Pokemon the Movie encore screening dates and Disney XD premiere

If you planning to go watch the movies, I got some good news to tell you. Originally, the anime movie Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You will screen in limited theaters in November 5th and 6th. Now announced, the movie will get an encore screening if you miss these dates. The movie will be in theaters in November 11th and 14th, Tuesday and Saturday. If you miss both these dates, don’t worry because Disney is here to help! The channel Disney XD will be showing the movie on TV 3 weeks after the movie release in theaters. In short, you can watch this movie on November 25th during Thanksgiving weekend.

Anime Movies in the Fall season!

As we approach fall, get ready for some new movies. As people get ready for movies like Justice League or Thor: Ragnarok, anime movies will also be heading towards select theaters too!

Announced in ANN, Eleven Arts are planning to screen some anime movies this October in the US. The first one to be announced is the movie A Silent Voice by Yoshitoki Ōima. This manga well known for the story about a bully named Shoya Ishida who picks on a deaf girl named Shoko Nishimiya as kids. After she gets bullied to the point where she leaves the school, Shoya gets bullied by his classmates and then isolates himself in high school. He then later tries to redeem himself and seek to apologize to Shoko. This anime was worked with Kyoto Animation.

Another anime movie joining October is a movie called Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection. Here is the synopsis:

In the story, a pair of researchers stay behind on their dying planet of Eltria with their two daughters, Amitie and Kirie, in hopes of finding a way to revive the planet. But when the husband Granz falls ill it seems their dream of reviving the planet will die. Against her older sister’s wishes, Kirie sets off with her childhood friend Iris to seek help from a distant alternate world. They arrive in Japan on Earth to search for the key to their planet’s regeneration. There, they meet Nanoha Takamachi, Fate T. Harlaown, and Hayate Yagami.

Last but not least, the Pokemon movie, Pokemon the movie: I Choose You will be screened in theaters in November 5th and 6th in English Dub. You can preorder for tickets!

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete review

News: Yu-Gi-Oh! movie DVD license and Sailor Moon Crystal game boards

Yu-Gi-Oh!

Announced today, American license company Anchor Bay Entertainment will releasing the digitial and DVD and Blu-Ray release of the movie Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark side of Dimensions. According to the news, the digital release will be coming out early on June 13 and the physical copies come out on June 27th. The DVDs will have an English and Japanese dub track for those who wants to watch the film in Japanese or English with 4 features in the special features.

Sailor Moon Crystal

Announced yesterday, Dyskami Publishing Company (game board company) announced that they will be working and selling game boards based on the anime Sailor Moon Crystal. As of now, they are doing two games: Sailor Moon Crystal Dice Challenge and Sailor Moon Crystal Truth or Bluff.

Here is game descriptions:

Sailor Moon Crystal Dice Challenge

a dice battle game where players roll different types of polyhedral dice to capture their opponent’s dice. The game goes in rounds, with the first player to win three rounds winning the game. The loser of any round powers up to gain an advantage in the next round. The game is slated for this summer.

Sailor Moon Crystal Truth or Bluff

a tile-passing and bluffing game where players pass tiles to gain Success Tokens while also avoiding the selected End Game condition. The player who fulfills the End Game condition loses, while the player with the greatest number of Success Tokens wins the game. The game is slated for this fall.

Unfortunately, the games will be released on 2018.

Live-Action Death Note released date news

If you have been following online, Netflix recently released a teaser trailer to the live-action movie to the manga and anime series Death Note (American version). The teaser revealed the three main casts Light (Nat Wolff), L (LaKeith Stanfield) and Mia (Margaret Qualley). He wasn’t shown but his voice was heard but Willem Dafoe will be Ryuk. Here is the plot synopsis:

Death Note tells the story of high schooler Light, who comes across the Death Note notebook, which gives him the power to kill others simply by writing their name in the book. The Death Note comes with a few extra rules, however, but Light begins to use his powers to kill those he sees unfit to live.

The film will be released in Netflix on August 25.

Personally, this looks really interesting. I just hope it follows the main story like the original. If you guys thought the Ghost in the Shell movie looks terrible or good, check this trailer out.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions movie date moved for US and Canada.

Revealed today at their official YouTube channel, the Official Yu-Gi-Oh! channel released a new trailer to the upcoming English Dub movie “Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions”. In this new trailer, the video reveals a new updated release date. The movie will be released in the US and Canada on January 27, 2017. The movie was previously on Jan. 2o but now it’s Jan. 27.

Manga Entertainment and 4k Media will screen the movie at the UK and Ireland on February 1, 2017.

Pokemon: The First Movie returns to Theaters!

 

Announced at the official website, Pokemon U.S. will be premiering Pokemon: The First Movie in 200 Cinemark Theaters. This first movie hasn’t been in theaters since 1999 and now the very first Pokemon film will be returning to theaters on October 29, Saturday and November 1, Tuesday. The movie will also be screening the Pikachu Short, “Pikachu’s Vacation”. This film has been popular for 17 years. At the site, you can order tickets now. $5 dollars each for October 29 Matinee shows and November 1 evening shows.

This epic cinematic debut stars Ash and Pikachu as they face off against the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo.
