As we approach fall, get ready for some new movies. As people get ready for movies like Justice League or Thor: Ragnarok, anime movies will also be heading towards select theaters too!
Announced in ANN, Eleven Arts are planning to screen some anime movies this October in the US. The first one to be announced is the movie A Silent Voice by Yoshitoki Ōima. This manga well known for the story about a bully named Shoya Ishida who picks on a deaf girl named Shoko Nishimiya as kids. After she gets bullied to the point where she leaves the school, Shoya gets bullied by his classmates and then isolates himself in high school. He then later tries to redeem himself and seek to apologize to Shoko. This anime was worked with Kyoto Animation.
Another anime movie joining October is a movie called Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection. Here is the synopsis:
In the story, a pair of researchers stay behind on their dying planet of Eltria with their two daughters, Amitie and Kirie, in hopes of finding a way to revive the planet. But when the husband Granz falls ill it seems their dream of reviving the planet will die. Against her older sister’s wishes, Kirie sets off with her childhood friend Iris to seek help from a distant alternate world. They arrive in Japan on Earth to search for the key to their planet’s regeneration. There, they meet Nanoha Takamachi, Fate T. Harlaown, and Hayate Yagami.
Last but not least, the Pokemon movie, Pokemon the movie: I Choose You will be screened in theaters in November 5th and 6th in English Dub. You can preorder for tickets!
Final Fantasy VII Advent Children is a movie sequel to the original game.
Two years have passed since the events of Final Fantasy VII and the ruins of Midgar stand as a testament to the sacrifices made in order to bring peace. However, the world will soon face a new menace. A mysterious illness is spreading fast. Old enemies are astir. And Cloud, who walked away from the life of a hero to live in solitude, must step forward yet again…

Announced today, American license company Anchor Bay Entertainment will releasing the digitial and DVD and Blu-Ray release of the movie Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark side of Dimensions. According to the news, the digital release will be coming out early on June 13 and the physical copies come out on June 27th. The DVDs will have an English and Japanese dub track for those who wants to watch the film in Japanese or English with 4 features in the special features.
Sailor Moon Crystal
Announced yesterday, Dyskami Publishing Company (game board company) announced that they will be working and selling game boards based on the anime Sailor Moon Crystal. As of now, they are doing two games: Sailor Moon Crystal Dice Challenge and Sailor Moon Crystal Truth or Bluff.
Here is game descriptions:
Sailor Moon Crystal Dice Challenge
a dice battle game where players roll different types of polyhedral dice to capture their opponent’s dice. The game goes in rounds, with the first player to win three rounds winning the game. The loser of any round powers up to gain an advantage in the next round. The game is slated for this summer.
Sailor Moon Crystal Truth or Bluff
a tile-passing and bluffing game where players pass tiles to gain Success Tokens while also avoiding the selected End Game condition. The player who fulfills the End Game condition loses, while the player with the greatest number of Success Tokens wins the game. The game is slated for this fall.
Unfortunately, the games will be released on 2018.
If you have been following online, Netflix recently released a teaser trailer to the live-action movie to the manga and anime series Death Note (American version). The teaser revealed the three main casts Light (Nat Wolff), L (LaKeith Stanfield) and Mia (Margaret Qualley). He wasn’t shown but his voice was heard but Willem Dafoe will be Ryuk. Here is the plot synopsis:
Death Note tells the story of high schooler Light, who comes across the Death Note notebook, which gives him the power to kill others simply by writing their name in the book. The Death Note comes with a few extra rules, however, but Light begins to use his powers to kill those he sees unfit to live.
The film will be released in Netflix on August 25.
Personally, this looks really interesting. I just hope it follows the main story like the original. If you guys thought the Ghost in the Shell movie looks terrible or good, check this trailer out.
Revealed today at their official YouTube channel, the Official Yu-Gi-Oh! channel released a new trailer to the upcoming English Dub movie “Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions”. In this new trailer, the video reveals a new updated release date. The movie will be released in the US and Canada on January 27, 2017. The movie was previously on Jan. 2o but now it’s Jan. 27.
Manga Entertainment and 4k Media will screen the movie at the UK and Ireland on February 1, 2017.
Announced at the official website, Pokemon U.S. will be premiering Pokemon: The First Movie in 200 Cinemark Theaters. This first movie hasn’t been in theaters since 1999 and now the very first Pokemon film will be returning to theaters on October 29, Saturday and November 1, Tuesday. The movie will also be screening the Pikachu Short, “Pikachu’s Vacation”. This film has been popular for 17 years. At the site, you can order tickets now. $5 dollars each for October 29 Matinee shows and November 1 evening shows.
This epic cinematic debut stars Ash and Pikachu as they face off against the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo.
TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday!
Hello my crazy friends and welcome to the madhouse! Today’s post will be about DC’s second film of 2016 “Suicide Squad.” In this movie, watch as Amanda Waller (played by Violet Davis) recruits a secret team of dangerous criminals in order to do dangerous missions. Margot Robbie will play as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot and Jared Leto will be the new Joker. There is also word that Batman will also appear in this movie but as a cameo. Sorry Bats. If you plan to watch it or you already seen it, tell me how it is. Is it good or a let down? Don’t spoil the movie for us.
In other news, New York states that Pokemon Go is prohibited to registered sex offenders; it would be violation on parole and they have requested special permission from the app developers for hope they prevent more crimes. Also like the upcoming American TV show of Death Note, it’s been announced that Sword Art Online will also get a live adaptation and it will be done from an American company.

Good Morning happy people! Today is another episode of Friday Funny and I got some news before we get started. As many of you are aware, the app “Pokémon Go” has already taken the attention on everyone with a iPhone and Android user. Now users can be real-life Pokémon trainers and explore places. However, be cautious out there, danger is waiting every corner. Besides avoiding get run over by a vehicle, people can get lured and robbed by users who uses the beacons and chatrooms to steal phones. They are the closest to Team Rocket. Be extremely careful out there.
In other news, today is the movie release of the reboot classic “Ghostbusters“. In this new film, new and old fans will see the return of Ghostbusters in a all-new female crew. If you still got some love for the movie or a noob like me, go check out the film.
In anime news, Saturday at Toonami, the popular 2015 anime “One-Punch Man” will be joining Toonami with a new English Dub cast. If you enjoyed the anime last year, go watch it again in English. to those who don’t know, “One-Punch Man” was originally a Japanese webcomic made by a person named ONE, In 2012, ONE and manga artist Yusuke Murata teamed up and made a digital manga of “One-Punch Man” and the first ones to read it was people who subscribed to Weekly Shonen Jump. The series later got an anime adaptation in late fall 2015 and received positive reviews.
With that settle, it’s time to begin!

North America video distributor Shout! Factory announced that they will release a DVD and Blu-Ray set of the 1986 cartoon movie The Transformers: The Movie. The DVD and Blu-Ray are set to be released on September 30th. This movie, based on the cover, will mark 30 years since the movie. Shout! Factory also mentioned that they also got the digital rights for the movie. Here is what the movie is about based on Shout! Factory:
