Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Limited Edition unboxing review

Better than never I always say. This is another unboxing posts and it will be super short. This post will be covering the limited edition version to the recent Square Enix game Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Limited Edition. This game came out on January 24 but since I preordered online, I got this game on Saturday, January 28th. People ordered the Limited Edition receives the game in different cover box and an exclusive Disney Pin.

On the cover of the box, the cover is displayed with the game’s title along with simple patterns and symbols. The game also includes the actual hard case of the standard game with the characters on it. Unlike my Deluxe Edition to the Final Fantasy XV game, the box was cardboard or one of those plastic boxes; it has some bends and it was not a steelbook case. The pin was pretty to cool have. It was very small and it was my first pin I ever got.

The Limited Edition pretty cool to have especially if you are a Disney fanatic. If you are pin lover, this is a must have and if you want to own a second pin to the previous one if you preoredered Kingdom Hearts HD. 2.5 Remix. If you are not much pin fan, you are better off just buying the standard game. Getting this edition doesn’t come with any dlcs not even an artbook like 1.5. If you want this game, you better off with the standard.

TGIF Friday Funny 92: May your hearts be your guiding key

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back for another episode of TGIF Friday Funny. This is Matthew and I am back with more funny pictures. In this episode I want to dedicate this to another popular game series. The same company who did Final Fantasy XV is back with another game but it’s not Final Fantasy. Along with Final Fantasy, the popular series Kingdom Hearts is back with a new collection game and this is one is different than the previous collections. The new game is Kingdom Hearts HD II.8: Final Chapter Prologue. The game is expected to come out on January 24th for PS4 only.

This game includes he following:

Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance HD: An HD remake to the 3DS game Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. The game will be on the PS4 under the title Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance HD. A game where the story takes place after KHII and Sora and Riku enter the Sleeping Worlds and enter the Mark of Mastery to become Keyblade Masters.

Kingdom Hearts x Back Cover: Told through cinematic cutscenes, this part of the story takes place before Kingdom Hearts begins and tells the story through the eyes of Keyblade Masters and bearers. This story shapes the future of the Kingdom Hearts story.

Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage: Taking place after the events of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Keyblade master Aqua is still trapped in the Realm of Darkness for 10 years. Players will play as Aqua and dwell through the darkness and fight the Heartless and escape.

This is what the game collection will have. KH2.8 will serve as a prologue to the upcoming anticipated game Kingdom Hearts III. Like any other fan, I am excited to play this game. I already reserved my copy for the Limited Edition game and I bought the new soundtrack of Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru. The soundtrack is called Simple and Clean (Ray of Hope Mix).

Last but not least, 2017 marks the 15th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series. Also, keep an eye on the PSN store because Square Enix will be adding Sora from Kingdom Hearts for the spinoff game World of Final Fantasy.

Now, let’s begin this post with a smile, my seekers of light and darkness!

To end this post, here are some Kingdom Heart clips to bring in hype.

Dream Drop Distance:

That’s all for today. Go out and defeat the darkness!

It has been a long time since we heard the Evangelion anime. In a interview with UK Anime Network, animator director Takeshi Honda mentions that they have recently started to work on the final Evangelion movie this October. In his words, this is what he said:

“We’re actually working on the new Evangelion film right now. We’re working hard and it’ll come out eventually, so thanks for all of your patience – please continue to be patient, because it’s going to be the last episode.”

TGIF Friday Funny 78: Happy Birthday Big Sis!

Thank God it’s Friday! Good morning everyone. It’s me Matt and I am here again for another episode of TGIF Friday Funny. In today episode, I got some exciting news! The first piece of news is that today is my older sister’s birthday! She was born today, October 14 and it’s a blessing to have her as an older sister. My sister loves to read and her favorite books are Harry Potter and the Hunger Games. She likes to paint, read her Bible and loves to listen to music. She also has a boyfriend but things are going to get better at January! Happy Birthday!!!

In other news in my personal life, I recently got a job and now that I am done with school, I will be gaining work experience. I am working at Amazon! However, since I am working, this also means my schedule might be busy again just like college life. Don’t worry however, I will still be here blogging and on Twitter. 🙂

Last news is that if you still watch Toonami, you may have heard that One-Punch Man has ended. However, a new anime will be joining Toonami and it’s called JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures. Based on the recent promo video, voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch will be the English voice of Jonathan Joestar and Patrick Seitz is Dio Brando. With this said, let’s boogie!

Here are some songs that my sister will love:

If you are not into Disney Songs, enjoy some JoJo Bizarre Adventure opening songs to help bring hype for Toonami premiere!

TGIF Friday Funny 70: Long Live the King!

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday!

Welcome to another silly episode of TGIF: Friday Funny! I am the king of my blog and rule the lands of what I write. I offer entertainment to my subjects. My kingdom has also showed support for other kingdoms. As king, I only bring my kindness and joy to those who seek it. I am the king of Matt-in-the-Hat but there is a king above me and His name is God. God is the king of kings!

I created this title from the upcoming movie Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV.

Before we begin, let me say couple of things. In recent news, Square Enix confirmed that the upcoming video game Final Fantasy XV will be delayed until November 29. The game was originally set to be released on September 30 but according to the game director, he said wanted to make the game didn’t suffer from bugs and he wants player to get the full experience on the long awaited game. This is good and bad news for players because even though Square Enix is trying to give the best experience, players (like myself) will have to wait for couple of months before it’s finally released. In the meantime, Square Enix released a soundtrack that includes the well-known song Stand by Me by “Florence + the Machines” from the trailer “Reclaim Your Throne” available for purchase in Android Google Play and iTunes.

Also, if you have been following Square Enix, you will know that today is the movie release of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. Here is what the plot based on Square Enix Description:

“The magical kingdom of Lucis is home to the hallowed Crystal, but the menacing empire of Niflheim will stop at nothing to make it theirs. War has raged between the two for as long as most can remember.

King Regis of Lucis commands an elite force of soldiers dubbed the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king’s magic, Nyx Ulric and his fellow glaives stand before the crown city of Insomnia, fighting to stay the inexorable advance of Niflheim’s imperial army.

Before the overwhelming military might of the empire, King Regis can only salvage his kingdom by accepting an ultimatum—he must cede all lands outside the crown city, and see his son, Prince Noctis, wed to Lady Lunafreya, the former princess of Tenebrae now captive of Niflheim.

As the war of wills rages, the machinations of Niflheim transform Insomnia into an awe-inspiring battleground, pulling Nyx into a struggle for the very survival of the kingdom.”

The movie is today and if you are near around this area, you can watch this. The movie is expected be released for Blu-Ray around the fall but people who preordered the Deluxe Edition to Final Fantasy XV, will now be getting a copy for free once the game comes out.

Stay tune for a special presentation at the end of the post. Without further delay, your king commands this post to commence! Bring out the best entertainment!

To end this post, I want to make a special shout out to one of my colleagues. Her name is Alison Turman (August 17) and she is a great friend I know in my classes. We met in a philosophy class  and then we had the same classes again English Writing courses. What makes her interesting is her writing skills and story telling. She is also a big fan of Sailor Moon and absolutely love Disney. Just like me, we were both 90s kids. She enjoys the classic cartoons! So now, in front of everyone here in the web, I want to say this… Happy Birthday Alison. Enjoy these clips I found for you!

I hope you enjoyed this Alison and God bless you. Happy Birthday!!

Bye everyone! 🙂

Friday Funny 60: Happy Birthday Ezra!!

Happy Birthday!

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back everyone for another exciting episode of Friday Funny. In this episode, I decided to do a special blog post to my closest friend in California, Ezra Cabral! Today is his birthday and I decided to share this moment with everyone else here. To those who don’t know, I will tell you a quick story about how we met and about him:

I met my friend Ezra long time ago in grade school. We had the same class and teacher together but we never actually became best friends until the sixth grade. We remained close together in middle school and up to high school. However, after freshman year, I moved to a program in high school and he went to a different high school. He went to a church and high school and I went to a program where I took college and high school classes. We still talked to each other through calls and messaging. In the summer, we always hung out and each others homes and played video games. We played anime games like Naruto, One Piece and Bleach and Call of Duty. He got me and my brother into Call of Duty haha. We have been chatting and hanging all the way to even college. Now that we are both reaching the end of college, he is leaving the state to complete some summer courses and graduate faster. He will come back in July. Thank God, my summer will be boring without him XD.

Ezra Cabral is guy every person should have as a friend. He is cool (probably cooler than me) and he has great knowledge on history and World War history. If you ask him a question about World War II, he will answer it in a heartbeat. He is a great guy with some much compassion and love for others and he knows how to make people laugh when you are feeling down. If you like anime like Naruto, DragonBall Z or Sword Art Online, he can start conversation with you anytime. He also enjoys a good laugh of the TFS DragonBall Z  and Hellsing Ultimate abridged series (I introduced it to him).

Last but not least, he is also a writer. He wants to write stories and become an author. He told me about his works and they sound great. If you like fantasy stories, then this guy will write up a story that will catch your attention. One of these days, he will become a great novelist.

If you got to know Ezra in person, he is a friend that won’t let you down. To me, he is more than a friend, he is my brother!

Before I get sentimental, let’s begin the celebration! (Warning: this is a huge post!)

Since this Ezra’s birthday, here are some funny clips from TeamFourStar!

To end this post, here is some songs about friendship:

Well, I guess that’s all folks. Happy Birthday Ezra and I hope to see you soon my friend. I will pray for you and I hope the summer school will be easy for you. Once you return, let’s hang out and catch up with some stuff. Let’s play some Call of Duty.

Happy Birthday and Aloha Ezra 🙂 !

Friday Funny Episode 52: Welcome to the Jungle, Hunter!

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! Good Morning bloggers! Today is another exciting episode of TGIF: Friday Funny. This is episode is not about Guns N’ Roses’ Welcome to the Jungle; however, it does involve some adventure. Today is the movie release of the Disney live action movie The Jungle Book. For anime news, tomorrow is the series premeire of the English Dub anime Hunter x Hunter at Toonami. This is the second week of school and it starting to get busier than ever. I do take breaks once in a while to rest my mind. Lately, I have been busy in video games like Batman Arkham Knight and the app game Kingdom Hearts Unchained x [chi]. Work hard, play hard, but work hard I always say XD. Let’s begin this funny post!

Now that we reached the end, here are classic songs from the cartoon version of “The Jungle Book”.

Goodbye Man-cubs and Woman-cubs! 🙂

Friday Funny 51: 90s!

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! Good morning everyone! Today is another TGIF episode and I can’t wait to start. Recently this week I went back to school again for the spring. Hopefully if everything goes well, I shall be done. That also means I might be busier than usual since I am taking a lot of classes. Still, I will do my best to continue blogging :).

Tomorrow at Toonami, the last episode of the anime Parasyte will be shown and replacing that will be Hunter x Hunter. Well since I did not have anything pictures for this occasion I decided to mix it up for this TGIF post. If any 90s kid recognize the title “All That!”, you were born in the 90s like me. I decided to share pictures and memes from old cartoons. Those were the best times. Back then before cell phones and apps, we had toys and vhs. Some of these may not be 90s but their are some pictures that may trigger some nostalgia. Remember you would watch Toonami after school and watch action packed anime like DBZ, YuYu Hakusho, Sailor Moon and Rurouni Kenshin? Pepperidge Farm remembers.  Sit back and relax and enjoy the ride!

WARNING: Thus may contain nostalgia!

This is random but if you want to support this classic manga “Kimagure Orange Road”, go to kickstarter and donate to help reach the goal. If the goal is fulfilled, we could be getting the manga series in a all new English Translation and in a print omnibus volume. If you want help, click the link highlighted above.

Tom Warburton, creator of Codename: KND, drew this because he really likes One Piece. You can read about it in his blog. It’s from September 2011 issue of Shonen Jump.

For more cartoon classics, here is a playlist of songs I collected from YouTube. These are classic songs from Cartoons from Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros, and more!

As a way to conclude this post, here is a goodbye song from my childhood “Bear in the Big Blue House”.

Goodbye :)!

Friday Funny 39: I Have a Dream

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! Today it is Friday and it is a three day weekend for some. This weekend is a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his amazing acts of courage for giving African-Americans equal rights and fight off racism. Let’s all remember that we are the same because we are humans and we should not hate each based on skin. Let’s be like brother and sisters and stick together.

Besides this holiday, I have returned back to college and I will most likely be busy in the next couple of weeks but fret not, I will do my best to stay active on blogging and continue to chat with others :). Even though it’s been out for weeks, Star Wars Episode VII is considered the best movie in theaters. Today in theaters is the family friendly movie called “Norm of the North”. The movie is about a polar bear named Norm (voiced by Rob Schneider) and his adventure in New York. Now…  Let’s begin this TGIF!

He can drive!

While I was trying to find something to share for this and I came this close to finding nothing. I found an interesting video of the Oscar Awards dated back in 2001. This award was for best animated feature. The nominees were Jimmy Neutron, Monster Inc., and Shrek. Only one of them gets the award. Here is the video:

Kingdom Hearts 3 and 2.8 news! Toy Story and Fragmentary Passage

In the is recent KH news, Square Enix released screenshots of Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. In one of the screenshots here, Sora and his allies, Donald and Goofy, are riding an attraction looks strikingly similar to the Toy Story ride Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters from Disneyland. The attraction in this game is called Shooting Ride. This could mean that Pixar films might show in this game, such as inspired worlds. The screenshots also reveals that the game will increase the clarity of the 3DS game Dream Drop Distance. It is also confirmed that Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage will be a playable chapter. The screenshot shows Riku, Kairi, King Mickey and Yen Sid discussing about the Master of Sorcery
