Game News: New Naruto games!

Recently announced in a trailer and 19th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan, Namco Entertainment will be releasing some new Naruto games.

In a trailer, a game called Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will be for PS4, Xbox One and Steam. The game will be developed by Soliel, a subsided company of Vahla Game Studios. Here is what the game is described so far:

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is an “acrobatic ninja battle” game for the PlayStation 4. The game will have an online component, and players can form four-person cells in multiplayer to fight against another four-person cell for a total of eight players. The game has no set release date.

Another Naruto coming out but in collection format is called Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Trilogy. In the issue described, the game collection will include Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 1, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 along with the DLCs.

Players who buys the game early will receive a product code to watch the Boruto anime screened from  Jump Special Anime Fiesta and folded poster.

Even though the news say the games will be for PS4, it will more than likely will be available for PS4, Xbox One and Steam. I think these games were made for PS4 only in Japan.

Friday Funny 103: Colorful Change

TGIF

Thank God it’s Friday! Hey everyone and welcome to this new episode of TGIF: Friday Funny. This is the first Friday of April and we are already finished with March. Get ready for this month’s upcoming events, such as Easter or what I like to call it Resurrection Day; this holiday will fall in April 16th.  Also going on is this month’s blog tour for the OWLS and this topic is colors. We will be discussing the importance of colors of people and in an anime and talk about differences and similarities. I started off the blog tour with my topic with Rosario + Vampire and Venus talked Colors in the anime K-Project and today we have Naja talking about her topic in Naruto.

Also going on is Arria’s 11th Blog Carnival! If you have a blog post regarding to anime or manga and you want to share with other bloggers, come to the carnival and share a link. The carnival will end on April 9th, Sunday!

Also some major news! If you didn’t know, Attack on Titan is back with a season 2; however, from I heard, the anime will only have 12 episodes, but here is some good news (hopefully it’s not another April Fools Prank). Toonami announced that on April 22nd, Attack on Titan season 2 will be joining the block on Saturday nights and will be replacing JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures. Here is the schedule (depending on what timezone you are in, the times are different):

April 22
11:00 p.m. – Samurai Jack
11:30 p.m. – Dragon Ball Super
12:00 a.m. – Dragon Ball Kai
12:30 a.m. – Attack on Titan Season 2 (premiere)
1:00 a.m. – Tokyo Ghoul
1:30 a.m. – Hunter x Hunter
2:00 a.m. – Gundam Unicorn
2:30 a.m. – Naruto Shippūden
3:00 a.m. – Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

Here is a question, was anybody mad that Adult Swim didn’t show the new episode of Samurai Jack and Dragon Ball Super but only showed Rick and Morty? I am not a fan of that show and I got mad. If you like the show, I bet you guys didn’t mind it. Let’s hope with the news of Attack on Titan wasn’t a prank.

My younger brother saw JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures for the first time from beginning of the episode to the end. He liked it and it was the first time in a long time we sat down and enjoyed an anime together. He enjoyed seeing Joseph fight and saw the randomness going on especially with Kars.

Last but not least, on April 12 for free users, the sequel to the hit sensation Naruto comes a generation of new shinobi. The new anime called Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is coming out and it will star Naruto’s son Boruto and his friends as they take on challenges in the new world of ninjas. The voices return along with new voices. Also, the artists who the did theme song for the Boruto movie, Kana-Boon, will be back for the anime song.

Less ranting and more laughing, let’s start this Friday!

To end this post here some videos in regard to the blog tour topic: Colors!

Have a bright and colorful weekend!

Yes. It reminds me of the Bible.

Top 5 Strongest Female Humans in Anime

I recently did a top 5 on strongest human men and now I am going to do a top 5 strongest human women!

Just like men in anime, there are some women out there that are so strong that can make men shake in fear. Sometimes, they can be relatable and can exist in the real world. In anime, women can look both cute and scary or beautiful and dangerous. In this list, I will be listing my choices for top 5 strongest girls in anime. Just like my male list, these girls are humans; no aliens, monsters, demons or androids, ONLY humans! This list is not ranked either and no spoilers here either.

OWLS Blog Tour: Rosario + Vampire – Colorful Love

“Colors”

“Colors” refers to people of color in anime. For this monthly topic, we will be discussing how people of color or characters of different “races” (a literal alien race) are represented in anime. Some topics we considering is the dangers of stereotyping, bi-racial characters, and the importance of racial inclusion.

In this topic, I will be talking about the importance of color in the real world and in the anime world and manga world of Akihisa Ikeda‘s series Rosario + Vampire. (I will be mostly using the manga instead)

(Might have spoilers of the series but are very minor, it cover mostly volumes 1 and 10 from the season 1 manga.) Continue reading

Friday Funny 102: Attack on Hackers

TGIF

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back for another exciting episode of TGIF: Friday Funny. This is another special episode because today is the last day of March 2017. It’s been fun in March while it lasted. For me, we had our ups and downs. We laugh, we cry and we smile through this day with sweat and blood. If you guys didn’t know, this week was birthday on March 28. I did a special shout out/top posts on Tuesday, I wrote about my experience in Anime Jungle in Little Tokyo and I shared you a post of my gifts.

One of the saddest news I found that the creator of High School of the Dead Daisuke Satō, died on March 22nd. Rest in peace and thanks for giving us a great zombie series.

Speaking of series, get ready for this weekend because they both have something to do with anime. Today is the live-action movie adaptation to the classic anime Ghost in the Shell. In this movie, Scarlett Johansson plays as the Major, first human to be a cyber-enhanced super soldier, as she must stop a hacker terrorist and find the truth about her identity.

Also, coming out on this weekend, we got long awaited season 2 of Attack on Titan. Eren and his friends must fight the titans again but this time, watch as they face new and old titans and uncover the hidden mysterious about the wall. If you are not into that, get ready for the second season of Weekly Shonen Jump’s superhero series My Hero Academia. Deku and his friends are back and they must use their quirks to get stronger and survive in order to become superheros. FUNimation will be simulacasting this anime and Crunchyroll will be doing the same as well for AoT. Let’s hope this is not a prank.

Now, onward to this titan sized Friday!

To end this post, here some Titan videos!

Check out this funny fan-made honest trailer of Final Fantasy XV made by MeticulousOtaku . In this video, she tells her opinion on one of Final Fantasy XV’s hardest missions and describes it in a funny manner.

Time to say good bye. Watch out for Batou!

My birthday gifts

Here is another short post.

Besides the stuff I bought from Little Tokyo, I got some gifts from my  family and I want to share some pictures for you guys on what I got for my birthday.

My younger brother got me a Marvel t-shirt, my sister and her husband got me two Pokemon shirts and my parents got me a Mortal Kombat shirt. They also got me the Final Fantasy XV – Piano Collection.

I also got some money from my grandparents. I used some gift money and purchased some Kingdom Hearts goods from Hot Topic: a lanyard and an exclusive Donald Duck Pop Funko figure.

My mom, who works in Scentsy, also got me a new burner and the burner is designed to look like stacked stones. I have  a habit of stacking stones whenever I go to the beach and my mom got me this candle. Scentsy is a company that sells lamps that burns and create fresh scents from burning wax, scented candles to be exact. It looks like this:

Whenever I try to stack stones, I feel like Smoker from One Piece.

I also got to download the dlc to Final Fantasy XV, Episode Gladiolus. I still need to finish the story, but I did play Chapter 13, verse 2 with Gladio. Gladio is a strong fighter and I enjoyed seeing his story.

To end this post, I will let Donald and Kirito say good bye.

Kirito: Good bye everyone. Thanks for the love for Matthew.

Donald: Bye! Bye! Come back real soon. You made Matt  a very happy boy.

Thank you guys for the nice comments and messages. God bless you all.

Hello everyone, this is yours truly Matthew of Matt-in-the-Hat, and today is a special day because today it’s my birthday! Today I turn 23 and I have been waiting for a long time to reach this number. As a way to start this post, I will be doing a special top 10 posts but with a twist. If you guys know me enough, you would know that I have a gaming obsession with Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts. For this top 10, this will actually be divided into top 5s instead but in the end, it will be 10. Also, there is no particular order. Here is the reason behind this. Also, I will be doing personal shout-outs!

Today is the DLC add-on to the game Final Fantasy XV, Episode Gladioulus. In this episode, players will be playing as Noctis’s friend Gladiolus and they will experience what is like to play as the strongest man of the group. Taking place after facing Ravus, Gladiolus leaves the party and tries to obtain new skills. With the help of Cor, Gladio will be fighting daemons and he will have to face the ultimate challenger, Gilgamesh. If players bought the season pass, this episode is free; otherwise, you will have to pay $5.

Also coming out today is the release of of the HD collection game Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, (in the UK, this game comes out on March 31st). This game will include the past Kingdom Hearts that was previously included for the PS3 but now it will be on PS4. The graphics are enhanced with 60 FPS.
