Friday Funny 112: Ultra Friday!

TGIUF!

Thank God it’s Ultra Friday! Hello everyone, this Matthew and I am here again in another episode of Friday Funny. You might be wondering, why did I say Ultra Friday and what makes it ultra; to be honest, there is nothing really Ultra about today. I said this because I got some ultra gaming news today. Revealed at Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed some new Pokemon games for the 3DS and Switch. If you like Sun and Moon, get ready for a new and updated version of this game called Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. According to resource, the game will be set in a alternate storyline unlike the previous game and Mega forms return. However, many fans were displeased with the news because many wanted a remake version of the Sinnoh region (Diamond and Pearl or Platinum) or many wanted this game to also appear for Switch. If you like the spinoff fighting game Pokken, I got good news for you, they also revealed a sequel called Pokken Tournament Dx in which will include more playable Pokemon, this will be for Switch.

If want to avoid the Pokemon drama, I got other news involving Final Fantasy. Announced on Wednesday, Square Enix will be releasing the fighting game Dissidia Final Fantasy NT for PS4 in early 2018. This game was partnered up with Team Ninja and Noctis Lucis Caelum will be joining the game.

Last but not least, check out a the this month’s OWLS blog tour of June. Starting the month is a good friend named Takuto and is talk about the anime Free! and Teamwork. Please support the OWLS and let’s help solve these social issues.

Also, Happy Birthday to my Brother in Christ Ezra and congratulations for him and his mother receiving degrees in College. He got a B.A. in History and his mother got a Masters.

With all this said, let’s start this Ultra Friday and begin this Salty Weekend.

To end this post, here are some Pokemon and Final Fantasy videos!

Here is some random gameplay of Final Fantasy XV

That’s all folks!

Video Games News: Dissidia major announcement!

Today I woke up to exciting news this morning in regards to Final Fantasy. I want to thank @RedMakuzawa (news writer for Final Fantasy content and social media manager to the project game Lost Soul Aside) and the Square Portal for keeping me up to date on the latest news on Square Enix titles.

It was announced today that Square Enix will be releasing a new Dissidia video game for PS4 titled Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (NT stands could stand for New Tale or New Tournament). This game was developed by Team Ninja who are well-known for games like Dead or Alive, Nioh and Ninja Gaiden.

Team Ninja

The game will include over 20 playable characters (Squall, Cloud, Sephiroth, much more) and amazing summoning characters like Shiva and Ifrit. It will also include team battles like 3v3 matches. You can play as your favorite Final Fantasy character offline and online; however, it is mentioned that there will not be a story mode but it will have some sort of story. The story narrative is done by Kazushige Nojima who worked on titles like Final Fantasy XV and the upcoming games Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII Remake.

But wait there is more! Leaked in Amazon (with the price of $60), even though it wasn’t in the recent trailer, it is confirmed that Noctis Lucis Caelum (protagonist in Final Fantasy XV) will be joining the game.

If you are going to E3 2017 (June 13-15), this game will be playable as a demo. The game doesn’t have an exact date but this game will be released for PS4 in early 2018.

If you don’t know what is Dissidia, Dissidia Final Fantasy is a video game spinoff based on the popular franchise Final Fantasy where characters (good and evil) are pitted together and fight each other in a unique fighting RPG video game. The first game was in the PSP called Dissida Final Fantasy and another one was made and titled Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy. This game was also on the arcades in Japan.

Ephesians 4: 14-16 (NKJV)

14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.

15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
