Anime Jungle Experience

I am going to be quick on this post. Today was my unofficial, or unhappy birthday today and for this day, my family took me on a trip to Little Tokyo. They know that I love anime and manga and my fascination on Japanese culture. Little Tokyo was an exciting place to go. In a funny way, it was like being in actual Tokyo from Japan. My family and I went to the Anime Jungle, also known as the Entertainment Hobby Shop Jungle. I went to three stores and I bought something from each one. I got my first ever Pop! figure of Kirito from Sword Art Online, two manga books of Rosario Vampire Season 2, and a Tobi mask from Naruto Shippuden.

My actual birthday is on March 28th!

Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale movie review and experience

[official site synopsis]

In 2022, the world of virtual reality was upended by the arrival of a new invention from a genius programmer, Akihiko Kayaba. Called NerveGear, it was the first full-dive system and with it, came endless possibilities to VRMMORPGs.
In 2026, a new machine called the Augma is developed to compete against the NerveGear and its successor, the Amusphere. A next-gen wearable device, the Augma doesn’t have a full-dive function like its predecessors. Instead, it uses Augmented Reality (AR) to get players into the game. It is safe, user-friendly and lets users play while they are conscious, making it an instant hit on the market. The most popular game on the system is “Ordinal Scale” (aka: OS), an ARMMORPG developed exclusively for the Augma.
Asuna and the gang have already been playing OS for a while, by the time Kirito decides to join them. They’re about to find out that Ordinal Scale isn’t all fun and games…

The last episode will be on March 23rd and with Iruka giving a message to Naruto’s wedding. To those who don’t know, back in December, the franchise animated the epilogue novels in three parts. Thanks to their publisher and distributer Nozomi Entertainment, the anime will be sold on DVD and Blu-Ray this year. Japan news: Possible BTOOOM! season 2 pledge

Unlike other anime that are getting sequels like One-Punch Man and My Hero Academia, another anime could get another season but with an exception.

According to Crunchyroll, Japan recently released an app game based on the video game violent manga series Btooom!, created by Junya Inoue. The app game is called Btooom! Online and this is where 6-8 players can kill each other for chips by using tiny bombs called BIMS. Unlike other series like Sword Art Online, Log Horizon or .hack//Sign (usually pronounced Dot Hack Sign). the story is very brutal and death can be gruesome. Based on scenes I seen, it’s like playing Bomberman and Call of Duty.

This is where things get interesting, Japan mentions that if this app game makes it to the top 5 in the top 5 domestic apps list, they will consider making a second season. The first season of the anime left fans with a cliffhanger and the manga kept going.

The anime was licensed and dubbed by Sentai Filmworks and the books were licensed by YenPress.

This makes you wonder, how would feel if anime companies did something like this. In my opinion, if they did this with Bleach: Brave Souls, if they promised that they will do the Thousand-Year Blood War if this game made it top 5, we could get a conclusion to the anime.

But that’s my thoughts, what do you guys think? Would you willing to support Japan if they did this in your area? What do you think about the Btooom! news?
