According to the New York Daily News newspaper, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo issued an order of directive to his state’s Department of Corrections and Community Supervision on Sunday to forbid playing Pokemon Go and other similar gaming apps. He is issuing a supervised watch or parole for these apps. The target people for this issue are registered sex offenders. If a sex offender downloads, plays or have any access to Pokemon Go, they would be in violation to their parole.
Governer Cuomo wrote a letter to Pokemon Go creators and developers Niantic Labs requesting for assistance in order to make these offenders would keep off from playing this app. More information of this news is provided in the hyperlink.
