Bleach news: Manga is ending in 10 weeks?


According to episode 164 in the Weekly Shonen Jump Podcast, Hisashi Sasaki, former editor-in-chief of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and current Viz president, mentions that Tite Kubo’s manga Bleach will be ending less than 10 weeks.

As a reminder, the manga will end on volume 74 and the books will be shipped in the fall, according volume 73.

  1. Weekly Shonen Jump (both English & Japanese versions) are losing a lot of big titles. Just hope it doesn’t become sequel-mania.

    I’ll wait until the last volume and then read the whole thing.

    • I noticed that as well. Not Bleach is ending, but Nisekoi is ending too. I also heard that Toriko is at the climax of the story. We can only wait to see more information for Bleach. We got ten weeks left.

    • Same here. I have feeling once the series is done, the anime will return. Who knows, it may even be like what happened to Inuyasha turn the last arc into a series. The anime could be titled; “Bleach: The Thousand Year Blood War.”
